On Friday September 18th, it was announced that Ruth Bader Ginsburg had unfortunately passed away due to pancreatic cancer. She was such an extremely important person in our democracy, and she fought endlessly for women's rights in this country. RBG was the second woman ever appointed to serve on the Supreme Court in 1993; she remains one of the only four women to be confirmed on the court. Her death is a monumental moment in our country's history and this may determine the fate of women's rights for a long, long time. If you can, take about 10 minutes to watch this video of her life and the huge impact she made in this country.
She will forever be in our hearts—Rest in Power Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
